What I love about this project is the surprises! You can get out of your head and open yourself up to possibility because you have no agenda in mind from the beginning. This guided workshop will include instruction on layering your painting with tissue paper, paint and other media to create interest and texture in your painting. The painting will be constructed on extra large water color paper. We will use modge podge, tissue paper, paint, and other paper media to complete the composition. The famous children’s author Eric Carle uses a form of this technique to complete his paintings. You might remember him from The Hungry Caterpiller book.
