King Who Paints Beauty with Time Print

The original of this painting was donated to the K Club Foundation, which raises money for acts of kindness for families battling childhood cancer. The K Club was founded by Keaton Barron, a young patient Katherine met at OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. They painted a lion together to raise money for patients there.

A few years later, Katherine attended Keaton’s funeral. His family has kept his vision alive, and the K Club continues to serve families in the community with courage, kindness, and compassion — just as Keaton did.

This painting is a vision of God as a lion, with children riding on his back and others at his feet, celebrating their healing by ringing the bell. It is a picture of strength, protection, and the joy of restoration.

The title is inspired by the song “Time” by John Lucas, whose lyrics are drawn from Ecclesiastes 3.

Keaton lived his life with courage, kindness, and compassion. His life and legacy have brought beauty to all who know him and his family.
