The Mother Road

An Oklahoma sky and imagined rainbow fields surround this road home. My mediation for this piece was my beloved Oklahoma landscape. I love the open roads and big skies of our great state. The completion of this piece comes at a time when I'm contemplating life and our brief time here. The rainbow fields are symbolic of God's promise to make all things good as we return home to him. This Route 66 painting celebrates the 100th birthday of the Mother Road. It is 16x20" and is framed in a contemporary textured grey floating frame. The print is 13x16" on art paper signed and numbered by the artist.

From my 2026 collection "The Art of Commitment". This series was created as an overflow of my heart's cry in these times of uncertainty. I remember my commitment to gratitude, joy, family, faith and beauty, there is an art in that. I'm thankful to the countless numbers of people who show up to do their best and commit to the future.
